Qld: Police search for man after attempted abduction
BRISBANE, April 14 AAP - A woman was forced to seek refuge in a phone box during an
abduction attempt in Brisbane's north.
A 20-year-old woman told police a man aged in his 30s twice tried to pull her into
his vehicle in a Chermside car park yesterday after offering to give her a lift home.
The woman shut herself in a phone box where she called police.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the incident to come forward.
The man was driving a 2002-2003 model dark grey Holden Commodore ute with mag wheels.
He is described as 180cm tall, of solid build, Caucasian with a fair complexion and brown hair.
He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt, brown cargo shorts and white running shoes.
